Ron Swanson’s Wall Art and Furniture Items

Dartboard (of Hate)

Ron plays darts fairly often in his office, but most infamously, he and Leslie tape a photo of all four living Parks Directors to a dartboard in “Summer Catalog” in Season Two after the four directors turned out to be jerks.

If you work for the government or have some other useless job, this would be a great addition to your office. You can spend some time getting really good at darts!

Where Can I Get Ron’s Dart Board?

We think this Viper Hudson Collection All-In-One Dart Center looks very similar to the set up in Ron’s office. Perhaps the branding was just removed for the TV show? Regardless, this is a handsome set with the wooden case and all and would look great in your office, most certainly.

Ship Painting

In Season 1 and Season 2, Ron has an iconic ship painting on his back wall. It’s a real painting by John Ward, officially titled “The William Lee at the Mouth of the Humber Dock, Hull,” or “The Return of the William Lee, 1839.” It adorns his wall until his visit to Charles Mulligan’s Steakhouse, after which it’s replaced with the iconic Steakhouse poster featuring old school boxer Mike Conley.

Do I Want It?

While this piece of artwork is a wonderful decoration, it’s actually been retired by the Man himself, so maybe you don’t want to invest in it.

Where Could I Get It?

It’s actually very easy to acquire in various places online, with different options for size and quality.

Charles Mulligan’s Steakhouse Boxer Poster

Unfortunately, Charles Mulligan’s Steakhouse closed in Parks & Rec, and ever existed in real life. So you can’t get the poster, right?

Wrong! There have been multiple people to sell the poster online (check ebay) and you can get the original poster that it’s based off. The boxer in the picture is one Mike Conley, popularized across the internet as overly manly man.

Ron’s Bacon and Eggs (and Brunette) Poster

Ron put up this poster frame with the wonderful stock photo of a dark-haired woman serving a plate of bacon and eggs. It makes him happy. And that makes all of us happy.

Original Quote

“Parks and Recreation: Ron and Tammy (#2.8)” (2009)

Ron Swanson: “I’m a simple man. I like pretty, dark-haired women and breakfast food. But this stock photo I bought at a framing store isn’t real. Today I got the real thing. A naked Tammy made me breakfast this morning. I should have taken a picture of it.”

Can I Get It?

"Swansons Breakfast Poster of Champions." Apparently it's a thing.

We could not find this exact stock photo available, but the replacement, “Swansons Breakfast Poster of Champions” was widely sold, along with similar bacon and eggs posters. They look delicious!
